I never really used a camera until I moved from Hawaii to California in the summer of 2000. I shot my first wedding in 2002, and I immediately fell in love with photographing people.
For over 10 years, my family and friends asked me to come back home and, for over 10 years, I never seriously considered it. And then I met Loretta.
Now that I’ve found the love of my life, I appreciate more than ever the value of photography.
My commitment for each event is to leave my clients with a collection of unforgettable images that are timeless, authentic, and visually engaging. I strive for simplicity in my work — creating compositions that are uncluttered, yet dynamic.
Documenting a wedding is a unique experience every time, whether I’ve worked at a location before or not. The most interesting variables are my subjects, and I’m always excited to work with new people.
When I’m not behind the camera, I love enjoying a nice glass of wine (mostly red), experiencing new food (of all cuisines), traveling (especially to foreign countries), and watching movies (for inspiration).
I look forward to documenting your celebration, and especially to being your friend.
Aloha,
Kevin
