Several weeks ago, I had a photo session with Sami, who is having her Bat Mitzvah next year. Sami wanted to do something creative for her “Save the Date” card. She got some boards and some paint to make some signs, and I essentially shot the making of the signs. Paula Gild of Gilded Events was also there and played an instrumental role in the whole production. It was a really fun shoot, and Sami was a great sport. I can’t wait to shoot her Bat Mitzvah in January.
Here is a sample layout that I made earlier. I actually had the basic layout in mind before the shoot, so I had to keep in mind that the proportions of the final images were going to be different from the proportion that my camera captures. It’s always a good idea when doing a shoot like this to get some extra frames to make sure you get everything you need. The final layout is still being worked on, but I wanted to share some of the images we got that day.
